Dr Helen Graves could be called a real champion for a drastic career change as she turned her passion into a full time job. Sounds like a dream come true to many, but what does it really cost to get there?  

The career change can be over-romanticized sometimes;from being your own boss, to working from home, to putting yourself out there.On the other hand, living a double life, dealing with after-the-switch financial burdens, and knowing how to choose “right” projects are just on the top of the iceberg. Helen also opened up about so-rarely-talked-about issues such as impostor syndrome, lack of confidence, and workplace bullying. To top that up, we discussed how and why she finished Phd in health psychology research during the lockdown, although she didn’t see herself working in the field.
